The ESPCG strategic objectives for 2025 & 2026 focus on the following :
- Increasing the number of membership ( both individual and national societies based members) based on the recently revised constitution that encourages individual membership from primary care practitioners across Europe.
- Providing an increasing amount of educational activities delivered via the ESPCG website (including updated primary care based guidelines in GI conditions and webinars).
- Enhancing collaboration at European level with different associations and institutions with preference to our both umbrella organisations: Wonca Europe and UEG.
- Ongoing collaboration with EASL to provide both a primary care perspective on liver disease and increasing front line physicians understanding of MASLD.
- Taking an active part in ROME V that includes a major role in the Primary Care Committee
