Greg Rubin is Professor of General Practice and Primary Care in the School of Medicine, Pharmacy and Health at Durham University, UK. He also represents the ESPCG on the UEG scientific committee.
His research interests are the diagnosis and management of significant disease in primary care, with a substantial programme of research and development around the early diagnosis of cancer. He also heads a team of researchers that undertakes research and evaluation associated with commissioning of health care.
He is the Royal College of General Practitioners’ Clinical Lead for Cancer and works closely with the Department of Health and cancer charities on the National Awareness and Early Diagnosis Initiative.
